Depression has come into the forefront in the last couple of months when the Covid-19 pandemic hit the US. Before that, only 8.5% of US adults experienced depression symptoms.
According to a recent study, this number tripled in mid-April when lockdowns and stay-at-home orders were prevalent. Therefore, 27.8% of US adults experienced symptoms of depression.
